Volcanoes may become active. Santiaguito, Kliuchevskoi.

Quake conditions July/August have largely met the casual outlook made early July for quiet quake conditions...with the occasional big quake.
Bigger quakes, spaced apart are becoming the new normal and could continue this way for years as the sun progresses through its cycle.
Three big isolated Mag 7 Pacific quakes in August were the new forecasting challenge.
