Magnitude 4+ risk areas are Northeast of East Cape, East Cape, Eastern Bay of Plenty, Rotorua, Taihape, Taranaki, South of Taranaki, Upper Wairau River, Inland Haast.
Quakes are likely to be infrequent.
A strong quake spell is possible.
Volcanoes quiet.
