Magnitude 6 risk areas are Upper Crooked River/Mt Alexander, South of Cape Kidnappers, Cape Campbell, Ward, Waita River, Lower Clarence, Offshore Clarence, Seaward Kaikouras, Kaikoura, East of Kaikoura, Southwest of Kaikoura, Culverden.
Magnitude 5 risk areas are Fiordland, South of Wellington, Lake Wairarapa, Lower Orongorongo River, Levin, West of Levin, Porangahau, Dannevirke, Waipukurau, North of Wairoa, Gisborne, East Cape.
Magnitude 4+ risk areas are Eastern Bay of Plenty, Rotorua, Urewera, Murupara, Taihape, South Awatere Valley, Haast.
Lunar modulation may center quakes around low tide.
Low Tide Kaikoura = 8.30am, 9.00pm
Low Tide Cape Kidnappers = 9.00am, 10.00pm
Low Tide Hokitika = 3.00am, 3.00pm
Solar quake driving conditions are fluctuating so quakes could arrive at any time.
