Magnitude 6 risk areas are Upper Crooked River, Culverden, Kaikoura, Offshore Kaikoura, Seaward Kaikouras, Lower Clarence, Tapuaenuku, Mid Awatere/Upcot Saddle, Upper Waima River, Ward, Cape Campbell, Eastern Tararuas, Porangahau, Eketahuna, Dannevirke, Waipukurau, South of Cape Kidnappers, Wairoa, Gisborne, Urewera, Murupara, Tokoroa, Rotorua, Eastern Bay of Plenty.
Magnitude 5 risk areas are Fiordland, Southwest of Wellington, Northern Cook Strait, Levin, Turakirae Head, East Cape.
Magnitude 4 risk areas are Amberley, Taihape, Wanganui, St Arnaud.
Volcanoes quiet.
Quakes are shifting into Awatere Valley and North Island, solar quake driving conditions are very high.
Mag 6 has become the new Mag 5 since the 14 November Culverden 7.8.
Quake conditions may stay very high until 26 December.
Quakes could happen anywhere, be very careful.
