Magnitude 6 risk areas are Upper Crooked River/Upper Trent River, Culverden, Kaikoura, Offshore Kaikoura, Seaward Kaikouras, Lower Clarence, Tapuaenuku, Upper Waima River, Ward, Cape Campbell, Orongorongo River, Masterton, Eketahuna, Dannevirke, Waipukurau, South of Cape Kidnappers.
Magnitude 5 risk areas are Fiordland, Southwest of Wellington, Northern Cook Strait, Levin, North of Wairoa, Gisborne, Urewera, Murupara, Tokoroa, Rotorua, Eastern Bay of Plenty, East Cape.
Magnitude 4 risk areas are Franz Josef.
Quakes may be infrequent.
Volcanoes quiet.
Be careful, solar conditions are very wound up as the end of the 18-26 December quake period approaches.

Northeast of Lake Grasmere 4.7 7.37am
Northeast of East Cape 4.3 2.07pm
Quakes were infrequent at higher magnitudes but ticking over strongly under Mag 4.
The Northeast of Grasmere 4.7 seems to confirm the shift into Awatere and North Island.
The quake was widely felt from Blenheim to Wellington, Hutt Valley, Wairarapa.
Solar quake driving conditions look set to continue for another day or two and a possible big isolated quake.
