Magnitude 6 risk areas are Upper Crooked River/Upper Trent River, Culverden, Kaikoura, Offshore Kaikoura, Seaward Kaikouras, Lower Clarence, Mid Awatere/Upcot Saddle, Tapuaenuku, Upper Waima River, Ward, Cape Campbell, Orongorongo River, Masterton, Eketahuna, Dannevirke, Waipukurau, South of Cape Kidnappers.
Magnitude 5 risk areas are Southwest of Wellington, Northern Cook Strait, Levin, North of Wairoa, Gisborne, Urewera, Murupara, Tokoroa, Rotorua, Eastern Bay of Plenty, East Cape, Northeast of East Cape.
Magnitude 4 risk areas are Franz Josef, Fiordland, St Arnaud.
Quakes may be infrequent.
Volcanoes quiet.
A big isolated quake is possible, be careful.
The period may be extended for another day, solar quake driving conditions still have plenty of energy.

Summary.
Local quakes were under Mag 4 despite the big Christmas Day Southern Chile 7.6.
The push into the North Island continues...not a good sign.
North Wairarapa seems to be the focus...but forecast confidence is low in this area, we've been beaten here before many times.
