Magnitude 6 risk areas are Upper Crooked River, Culverden, Kaikoura, Offshore Kaikoura, Seaward Kaikouras, Lower Clarence, Waima River, Ward, Cape Campbell, Porangahau, Eketahuna, Dannevirke, Waipukurau, Cape Kidnappers.
Magnitude 5 risk areas are Mid Awatere/Upcot Saddle, Orongorongo River, West of Masterton, Wairoa, Urewera, Gisborne, Murupara, Tokoroa, Rotorua, Eastern Bay of Plenty, East Cape.
Magnitude 4 risk areas are Fiordland, Franz Josef, St Arnaud, Levin, West of Levin, South of Wellington.
Quakes are flattening out as the quake period closes so quakes will be infrequent.
New Zealand data still shows as a possible Mag 6 Pacific location.
Be careful, a Mag 6 aftershock is inevitable....its just a matter of when and where.

This forecast worked extremely well.
Big, isolated quakes late in a forecast period are always hard to pinpoint.
The Cook Strait rumbles were widely felt in the North Island, Blenheim, Nelson but not much southwards.
Many people felt the quake was the worst since the 14 November Culverden 7.8.
