Magnitude 5 risk areas are Culverden, Kaikoura, Seaward Kaikouras, Lower Clarence, Tapuaenuku, Lower Awatere Valley, Ward, Castlepoint, Eketahuna, Dannevirke, Waipukurau, Cape Kidnappers, Mahia, Wairoa.
Magnitude 4 risk areas are Fiordland, Haupiri River, Wanganui, East Cape, Opotiki, Whakatane, Rotorua, Tokoroa, Atiamuri, Urewera, Murupara.
