Magnitude 4 risk areas are Fiordland, Mt Aspiring, Franz Josef, Broken River, Lower Clarence, Seddon, Northern Cook Strait, South of Taranaki, Eketahuna, Dannevirke, Waipukurau, Porangahau, Northern Hawkes Bay, Wairoa, East Cape, Opotiki, Rotorua, Tokoroa, Murupara, Taupo, Turangi, Taumarunui.
Volcanoes quiet.
Lunar modulation may center quakes around low tide.
The period is likely to be extended for several days.
Magnitudes may be raised later in the period.
