Magnitude 4 risk areas are Te Anau, Lower Clarence, Tapuaenuku, Waima River, Northern Cook Strait, Cape Palliser, Taumarunui.
Quakes are likely to be infrequent.
Volcanoes quiet.

South of Wanganui 3.8 8.36pm
Moderate solar quake driving conditions have faded on 16 April and unlikely to drive quakes.
Quakes are likely to be subdued until early 18 April.
Risk locations and magnitudes are unchanged.
Magnitudes may be raised to Mag 6 for 18 April.

15 April
South of Wanganui 3.8 8.36pm
17 April.
East of Waipukurau 4.6 5.32pm
Quakes faded away on 16 April.
The period was very moderate with plenty of Mag 3 activity in Taranaki Bight.
The East of Waipukurau 4.6 may be first arrival of a new quake period on 18 April.
