Magnitude 4 risk areas are Cascade River, Rolleston, South of Wellington, Upper Hutt, Atiwhakatu Stream, Eketahuna, Dannevirke, Waipukurau, South Taranaki, Taumarunui, Taupo, Rotorua, Whakatane, Opotiki, East Cape.
Volcanoes quiet.
Solar quake driving conditions are very high and likely to remain until a new peak late 11 September.
Local weather is very disturbed and likely to continue on 9 September.

The forecast outlook for very high steady solar conditions was a mistake.
Solar conditions went calm after the shock along with quakes.
Difficult forecasting conditions timing the shock arrivals off the flaring sunspot AR12673.
The 6 September X9, X1 and string of M Class X-ray flares from AR12673 was substantial.
