50 tourists visiting White Island have been caught in todays ash eruption.
23 people were evacuated and 5 have died from burns.
27 people were left behind on the island.
Rescuers have decided not to go out to the island tonight.
They have made no visual or phone contact tonight and more bad news seems likely when they return.
Spaceweather has faded tonight and the forecast period has ended.
Another eruption seems unlikely in the next days.
