The Indonesian seismologists have the only footage of the 11 April Krakatau eruption.
This view from their webcam on the Java coast is 43km from Krakatau.
The eruption is probably similar in size to the 22 December 2018 eruption and tsunami.
The difference is that there is no cone above sea level to blow off this time.
The cone collapsed into the sea during the 2018 eruption, making the tsunami which caused over 400 deaths.

Java is very busy with eruptions at Krakatau, Merapi and Semeru during the forecast period.
Krakatau is a signature volcano for Java, Bali, Lombok, Flores volcanos.
In modern history several "Java Zone" eruptions have come with decreasing solar activity and are well recorded by astronomers and meteorologists.
The most recent big Java eruption was the 6 month long 1982 Galunggung eruption, beginning four days after Mexican volcano El Chichon blew big.
Galunggung and El Chichon blasted so much ash and sulphur into the stratosphere that slowly retreating glaciers around the world suddenly advanced until 1990 as global temperatures suddenly plummeted.
Greenland Ice Cap and Franz Josef Glacier advanced rapidly in these years.

Another big eruption at Krakatau seems unlikely during this forecast period, spaceweather is weakening.
Thanks.
