Local Mag 4 quakes have followed the Kermadecs 7.4.
The Offshore Clarence 3.9 came just a few minutes after the forecast was posted.
Spaceweather arrived on cue but was typically mild, taking a day to build up enough energy for quakes to release.
The West of Kapiti 4.1 was deep and hardly felt.
The largest quake of the period, the Napier 4.1 met the outlook for East Coast quakes but outside regular forecast picks at Wairoa and Waipukurau.
The Olivine Range 3.9 was slightly outside Haast risk location.
Mag 2-3 quakes have also hit Christchurch during the period and along with Napier locals, the period has attracted a lot of news attention.
Seismologists reported that the quakes were unrelated, attracting attention because they were near cities.
They made no mention of the Kermadecs 7.4 quake as precursor.
New spaceweather is due 26 June and could bring a period of quakes in New Zealand and the Kermadec Islands.
Local quakes 23-26 June are likely to be very infrequent or absent and in risk locations from this forecast.

Forecast.
Magnitude 5 risk location is Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay.
Magnitude 4 risk locations are East Cape, Opotiki, Whakatane, Waikaremoana, Wairoa, Porangahau, Dannevirke, Eketahuna, Cape Campbell, Ward, Haast.
Volcanos quiet.
North Island East Coast is higher risk for migratory quakes following the 19 June 12.49am South of Kermadecs 7.4.
