A small burst of local quakes came along with a Pacific Mag 6 push early in the period.
Lunar modulation was patchy as it often is (lunar effects are secondary to solar effects)...the Pyke River 4.6 an hour before local low tide and good timing success.
The Lyttelton 3.8 was within an hour of high tide but low magnitude and near background level.
Quakes then faded away with fading spaceweather 7 July.
Mag 5 risk wasn't justified at Pyke River...the only Mag 4 for the next 5 days was at East Cape 4.0.
A new quake period begins 13 July building to a peak 16 July.

Spaceweather has arrived on cue and quakes have come to life early 7 July.
South Island quakes have come along with a Western Pacific/Indonesia quake push.
Conditions are easing back today although isolated residual South Island quakes may take 2-3 days to evolve.
The forecast period is extended to 8 July.
Quakes are likely to be infrequent.
Possibility Mag 5 Pyke River.
Lake Coleridge is added to Mag 4 risk locations.

Forecast. 6 July, 2020.
Magnitude 4 risk locations are Southwest of Milford Sound, Northwest Te Anau, Pyke River, Otira, Seaward Kaikouras, Ward, Cape Campbell, Mana, North of D"Urville Island, Northwest of Levin, Eketahuna, Dannevirke, Waipukurau, Taupo, Murupara, Taumarunui, Southern Kaimai Ranges.
Moderate spaceweather has set in 5 July and likely to continue 6 July.
The 5 July 11.59am Hundalee Ranges 4.1 occurred with the onset of spaceweather and the only local Mag 4 since 30 June.
Weak lunar influence may modulate quakes around low tide.
Volcanos quiet.
