Mild spaceweather early in the period was followed by a stronger burst on 24 October.
The New Zealand forecast was updated for the 24 October spaceweather but the Pacific forecast wasn't updated.
Southern California risk location Salton Sea became active 23 October following several quiet days.
Stronger spaceweather conditions are set to arrive 26 October and SW Pacific seems a likely hotspot.
