A Pacific volcano and quake period is driven by sunspot AR12790 and a week long proton storm, coming from the 29 November M4.4 flare from just behind the east horizon.
Local quakes are widespread with a focus on Snares Islands as quakes south of New Zealand continue from previous forecast periods.
A new smaller proton storm from Earth facing AR2790 yesterday and a Coronal Mass Ejection is likely to continue the period.
Quakes may build to a new peak from 10 December.
