Eruption Piton de la Fournaise, Fuego
A week long Pacific quake and volcano period is driven by a proton storm from sunspot AR2790 just behind the east limb on 29 November.
Most action, including New Zealand, has come at the beginning and end of the proton storm with the typically quieter period between.
South of New Zealand near the Balleny Islands is also active, further justifying the inclusion of Macquarie Island area as a risk location from previous periods.
Signature shield volcano Piton de la Fournaise erupted during the period and Hawaiian giant Mauna Loa is quaking slightly unusually.
A big pyroclastic eruption at Semeru is much bigger than the small ash eruptions and occasional lava spits in recent months.
Latin America volcano Fuego has blown out a near vulcanian class eruption with some big blocks thrown.
The ongoing eruption at Kliuchevskoi is getting slightly bigger.
Sunspot AR2790 threw a C7 flare, CME and small proton storm yesterday which will continue the effects from the active sunspot up to a new peak beginning 10 December.
The flare is slowly decaying but is Earth facing.
A new forecast for 9 December is being processed.
