Pacific quakes are becoming very infrequent as spaceweather weakens more today.
Good location success at Kamchatka Peninsula from a low number of Pacific risk locations, heavily weighted around the SW Pacific which remains very active but under Mag 6.

South Sandwich Islands 6.0 1.05am
Eruption Etna, Ebeko, Kliuchevskoi, Veniaminof, Pacaya, Momotombo, Lewotolo, Merapi, Sinabung.
Pacific quakes are mostly under Mag 6 during the period.
Ongoing eruptions at familiar volcanos with new eruptions at Veniaminof and Momotombo.
Etna has now had 13 lava fountaining eruptions/paroxysms...unbelievable.
An undersea minor eruption may be underway on the Kermadec Ridge or at Tonga. Hopefully a visual sighting will come through in the next few days.
White Island is heating up a little according to local vulcanologists.
Spaceweather is easing back today.
A forecast mistake means it is likely that 12 March was the true start for the period.
Quakes are likely to be infrequent on 17 March.

Magnitude 6 risk locations are South of Kermadec Islands, Raoul Island, Northern Tonga, East of Hunter Island, Northern Vanuatu, New Britain, Northwest Papua New Guinea, South Banda Sea, Northern Sulawesi, Southern Philippines, Kamchataka Peninsula, Nicaragua, Atacama, South of Valdivia, South Sandwich Islands.
Ongoing eruptions at familiar volcanos are likely to continue.
Merapi, Lewotolo, Raung, Semeru, Sinabung, Suwanosejima, Sakurajima, Kliuchevskoi, Veniaminof, Pacaya, San Cristobal, Sangay, Etna.
An undersea eruption may be underway on the Kermadec Ridge or Tonga from 12 March.
Satellite or visual observations may confirm discoloured sea or pumice rafts in the next days.
Tremor at Iceland/Reykjanes Peninsula is likely to continue building up toward an eruption.
The period is likely to be extended.
