Spaceweather was never strong during the period, local quakes have remained subdued.
Luckily no big quakes have come to New Zealand during the 2 week long Pacific quake period.
Pacific quakes have fluctuated during the period with no Mag 6 action then suddenly double Mag 7 quakes.
Quake fluctuations and very patchy spaceweather are justifying forecast low confidence.

Very patchy spaceweather isn't driving much quake activity in New Zealand.
More spaceweather may arrive tonight but seems likely to be weak.
A weak burst of quakes is possible on 11 August.
The period is volcanic in the Pacific so quake energy is low.
Forecast confidence=low.

South of Fiordland is added to Mag 5 risk locations.
Cape Campbell, Southern Cook Strait, Ward, Kekerengu, Tapuaenuku are added to Mag 4 risk locations.
Spaceweather is quiet, the forecasted solar windstream still could arrive later today.

Magnitude 4 risk locations are Northwest of Snares Islands, Doubtful Sound, Northwest Arm Te Anau, Bligh Sound, Offshore Milford Sound, Landsborough River, Upper Rakaia River, Wilberforce River, St. Arnaud, Waipukurau, Porangahau, Matawai, Tolaga Bay.
Volcanos quiet.
