The second and larger Mag 8.1 was about 100km south of the the earlier Mag 7.5 and 3 minutes later.
This is the second Mag 8 during the Summary period.
There have been 3 world Mag 8 quakes in 2021 and all have been in risk locations either during or soon after forecast periods.

15 August.
Haiti 7.2 12.29am
The biggest Pacific quake and volcano period in many years is rumbling on.
The period follows on from a very big solar flare on the backside (luckily) of the Sun on 14 July and the 29 July Aleutians 8.2.
South Sandwich Islands are still rumbling hard with Mag 5 quakes every few minutes.
Volcanic activity at South Sandwich Islands may begin soon.
A powerful new eruption at remote undersea volcano Fukutoka-Okanaba 1000km south of Tokyo makes a concurrent quake and volcano period.
A Mag 5.8 aftershock to the deep 24 July Taal 6.7 indicates Taal may become active.
The volcano is degassing strongly, the area evacuated for several weeks.
An Aleutians 6.9 aftershock to the 29 July Aleutians 8.2 came notably just 32 before the Haiti 7.2.
There is a reason why quakes and eruptions are clustered in time.
Todays Haiti 7.2 has flattened buildings, destroyed roads and infrastructure in the impoverished country.
300 people are reported dead so far and likely to be much more.
This is easily the biggest tectonic period since observations began 9 years ago.
The period slightly fits with the long term outlook from 2013 for bigger quakes, spaced apart.
A generally quiet Pacific year has suddenly been turned into an active year in just a few days.
The forecast was dropped on 11 August but new quakes are plotted onto the map which is now a Summary Map.
More quakes and eruptions are possible from such an active period.
Quakes haven't come to New Zealand during the period but the forecast did have risk locations north and south of New Zealand.
The Pacific is rumbling. Be careful.

The big August volcanic period is now also the big August quake period.
Volcanic action at South Sandwich Islands seems possible following the 500km long swathe of quakes.
Aleutian Islands now have 4 active volcanos immediately following the the 29 July Aleutians 8.2.
Atka on the Outer Aleutians is smoking hot and degassing.

Eruption Etna, Merapi, Lewotolok, Chirinkotan, Shiveluch, Semisopochnoi, Great Sitkin
Spaceweather arrived very late and weak.
Quakes are sparse but the August Pacific volcanic uptick following on from the July quake period is becoming more obvious with every day.
New eruption at Northern Kuril Islands volcano Chirinkotan, making for a string of new eruptions right around Kamchatka Peninsula and Aleutian Islands.
More eruptions seem likely in the next day.
More spaceweather is due tonight but may be weak.
