The forecast was dropped early due to difficult fluctuating spaceweather but quakes in risk locations came later, regardless of the failed timing parameter.
No observations were made for several days and unforecasted spaceweather arrived early on 22 September, driving more quakes and some risk location success from the old forecast map.
Canary Islands volcano Cumbre Vieja erupted from 8 vents, lava is flowing through 300 houses and growing.
A strong new spaceweather period is due late 24 September.
