Quake energy is directional. Excellent risk location success also at Porangahau. Mag 5 risk was justified. The period was brief. A moderate Kp6 solar storm passed quickly. Quakes went quiet for several days. New spaceweather from a coronal hole windstream is due very early 21 October and may bring a local quake uptick. A forecast is being processed. 12 October. Magnitude 4 risk locations are Doubtful Sound, NW Arm Te Anau, Offshore Milford Sound, Culverden, Cape Campbell, Kahurangi, South of Taranaki, Dannevirke, Waipukurau, Matawai, Tokoroa, Atiamuri, Taumarunui.
