July was a quiet month for local quakes.
No forecasts were offered.
The 5-8 July quake period came with Kp5 geomagnetic storms from a solar filament eruption and coronal hole windstream.
Tremor at Ruapehu dropped away with weak solar conditions although continuous low tremor resumed a few days later.
A continuous small quake swarm at Taranaki has weakened but ongoing.
Quake swarms West of Ruapehu and Lake Taupo/Waitahanui have weakened in July but ongoing.
A new forecast period 23 July may bring a minor increase in tremor on the Volcanic Plateau.
