A long period with deep quakes has evolved in the Southwest Pacific following the 27 February Kp7 geomagnetic storm.
Good location success although the forecast wasn't updated for several days.
Pacific quakes have been sparse for nearly 3 months so the period is a significant uptick.
Additionally the 28 February Gisborne deluge and Cat 4 cyclones Judy and Kevin powered up during the geomagnetic storm in the same locations as the quakes..
The Espiritu Santo 6.5 was directly under Cyclone Kelvin.
A coronal hole windstream is due tonight at Earth and may reactivate the period.
Deep quakes in New Britain and Kermadec Ridge during the period may lead to more action in those regions.

100km North of New Britain 6.5 6.36pm 600km depth.

100km ESE Raoul Island 6.9 7.41pm 200km depth.

Magnitude 6 risk locations are Auckland Island, Northern Tonga, South of Fiji, Northern Vanuatu, New Britain, Eastern Papua New Guinea, Banda Sea, Northern Sumatra, Molucca Sea, Southern Mindanao, North of Philippines, Alaska Peninsula, Offshore Northern California, Southern California Bight, Colima, Guerrero, Northern Ecuador, Southern Peru, Atacama.
Volcanic activity may increase.
Mauna Loa, Kilauea, Epi, Ambrym, Ambae, Karangetang, Shiveluch, Santiaguito.
The period is likely to be extended.
A Kp6/7 geomagnetic storm is possible following M3 and M6 flares from sunspot 3229.
The forecast period is likely to be extended.
