Update. 23 April 8.30am
Spaceweather arrived on cue but much weaker than expected, barely reaching Kp5.
Quakes have been slow to respond although an interesting Mag 5.7 quake cluster in the Indonesia, PNG region could evolve further in the next day.
Most of the quakes are 100-200km deep indicating piezoelectric energy may be moving up towards the surface.
Despite this, the weak spaceweather is unlikely to drive Mag 7 quakes during the remainder of the forecast period.
No damage reported from the Singleton 5.1, 100km north of Sydney although local diggers sipping their Tooheys became confused when the schooners started swaying around on the table. The quake happened in the same moment as the Vanuatu 5.7....thats a real quake cluster.
A new eruption has begun at Kilauea with spectacular lava fountains.
22 April.
Molucca Sea 6.2 10.17pm
Offshore Western Java 5.7 2.02pm
23 April.
Offshore Eastern Papua New Guinea 5.7 1.29am

100km North of Sydney/Singleton 5.1 4.55am
