Quakes never made it to Mag 6, nor did eruptions occur during the period.
Moderate spaceweather during the period was possibly only enough to recharge Earth's electromagnetic field back to some near normal level following the massive July quake period and accompanying piezoelectric discharge from ground to ionosphere.

Forecast. 16-17 August 2025.
Magnitude 6 risk locations are Macquarie Island, Northwest of Auckland Island, Raoul Island, Neiafu, North Molucca Sea, Southern Mindanao, Offshore Central Philippines, Northern Kuril Islands, Southern Kamchatka, Rat Islands, Southern California, Valdivia, Scotia Sea.
Volcanic activity may increase. Kliuchevskoi, Lewotobi, Suwanosejima, Sakurajima, Kirishima.
Coronal hole driven solar wind beginning 9 August has created another long period and possible tectonic release as the period draws to a close.
Pacific quakes have been quiet during the early period with only the 12 August Northern Papua New Guinea 6.3 and no big eruptions.
